From Rome
By car: Take the A1 motorway from Rome towards Florence and exit at Valdichiana/Bettolle. Follow the Bettolle–Siena dual carriageway towards Florence, then join the Florence–Siena expressway and take the Colle Val d’Elsa South exit.
After leaving the expressway, turn left and follow the signs for Follonica–Grosseto. Continue straight for approximately 5–6 km until you reach the La Speranza restaurant, then turn right following the signs for Casole d’Elsa.
After approximately 4 km, at the junction, keep left following the signs for Mensano–Monteguidi, without entering Casole d’Elsa.
At the junction for Monteguidi, keep right and continue downhill towards the village. Once you reach Monteguidi, do not enter the village; continue for approximately 3 km until you see the PIETTORRI sign on your left.
Follow the unpaved road and continue through the large gate directly ahead.
From Florence
By car: If you are arriving via the motorway, take the Firenze Impruneta exit and join the Florence–Siena expressway, following the signs on the right. Then take the Colle Val d’Elsa South exit.
At the exit, turn right and follow the signs for Follonica–Grosseto. Continue straight for approximately 5–6 km until you reach the La Speranza restaurant, then turn right following the signs for Casole d’Elsa.

By car: Take the Florence–Siena expressway towards Florence and exit at Colle Val d’Elsa South.
All’uscita, svoltate a sinistra e seguite le indicazioni per Follonica-Grosseto, proseguendo dritto per circa 5/6 km fino al ristorante La Speranza, dove dovrete svoltare a destra seguendo le indicazioni per Casole d’Elsa.
